~Review:Raw Gaia Bamboo and Pumice Exfoliator~

Hello Lovlies
How are you doing?I have been recently a big fan of natural & organic products. The product that I am reviewing today is also from the same category. Its the Raw Gaia Bamboo and Pumice Exfoliator.

Raw Gaia is the world's first range of living organic skin care products and organic beauty products, hand-made using only cold-pressed, organic, vegan, cruelty- and chemical-free ingredients.

Our natural & organic skincare products have outstanding skin moisturising and uplifting qualities because they are absolutely pure, alive and made with the Earth's most nourishing and beautifying skin care ingredients, which are far more effective than any chemical or artificial moisturisers.
What makes Raw Gaia stand out is that we use only 100% organic, living and vegan ingredients such as cold-pressed butters and oils as well as high-grade essential oils. Moreover, our products are made following a process that avoids temperatures beyond 40°C.

Our Bamboo and Pumice exfoliator will help to effectively remove the dead skin cells on the surface of your skin, to let a more radiant skin through, while at the same time assisting the newly exposed skin to function better. It will remove the dullness of congestion, and will also help to refine the skin texture and by doing so, help to reduce the size of the pores naturally.
Usually I have seen exfoliators coming in tube shaped or jars type packagings. But this is a very different kind of packaging as it comes in a cute little pot.The look of the product is very spa-ish!
On opening the product for the very first time,I thought this looks very powdery, well where are the granules that are to result in exfoliating the face!!
The powder is very finely ground with only bamboo & pumice as the ingrediants & nothing else really!I can say its the most natural exfoliator I have ever used. The directions are mentioned on the back of the pot.As I have used this exfoliator twice weekly last couple of days I tried the mentioned way of use + a couple of other techniques. The other one is like picking some powder with the help of a small spatula, place the powder in your palm, take some amount of water, create a mask like consistency and then place it all over your face & exfoliate.Picking the right amount of powder is important.
The result of exfoliating is excellent. The product when applied on the face changes into the tiniest granules one can feel.It removes all the dead skin & impurirties from the face & neck and brings out a visible fresher  layer of skin from underneath. It also helps improve the skin texture by shrinking the size of the pores. The skin feels baby soft after use.I am really happy that this exfoliator worked out too well for me.I have oily skin & therefore I need to exfoliate couple of times in a week. The pot may seem small but as only a small product is used,so the pot may last for quite a long period on your shelf! This 50 g jar comes for £20.99 which may sound extra expensive but then you get what you pay for & offcourse a little goes a long way!

I would recommend this to all of you who are willing to spend some extra bucks for your skincare essentials. This product has many purposes,it cleanses, exfoliates, rejuvenates & actually POLISHES your skin. There are a lot of other great products on their website as well.

~Review:Born Pretty Nail Art Stamping Plate with my First Presentable Nail Art~

Hello Girls,
How have you been?Well this is a post that has been pending for a long time now.Yes its the nail art stamping plate by Born Pretty Store. As this was the first time I laid my hands on a nail art stamper and a plate I wanted some time for myself to get used to the product and how to do something presentable with it.Ok so today I am sharing my review of this nail art stamping plate & my nail art !
Here is what I got for review from Born Pretty Store:

Born Pretty is specialized in providing nail art, nail polish, nail care, eyeliner, eyelashes, false nail, acrylic nail, french manicure, gel nails, pedicure etc.
You will always find great stuff on relatively low prices & loads of deals are always going on on their website that offer interesting stuff.

I ll share my over all experience of trial & error with you.The main thing when you want to try nail art is to have a clear table infront of you with some important stuff like nail polish remover,a wipe so that you dont have to use 100's of cotton balls, stamping plate, stamper & scraper along with the base coat & the nail color you are using  for the stamper.I tried various different nail polished for the plate but ended up understanding that always use a nail polish that is really thick .And I mean really thick ,it will do the trick for you.Ok as we have a lot of varieties available in Pakistan,I had some old nail polishes from Medore that come really cheap in our market.I found out that they were the best to use for stamping because after some time they turn really thick. The nail art that I am sharing today is done with Medora French Manicure White.

I am sorry for the unclear pic I always found that the sunshine or flash was getting in the way ,but anyhow i was able to take a presentable pic :)
Ok so now getting to how to use the plate.

Its not like you will try it for the first time & end up creating something marvellous but it requires a lot of patience and time to learn the tricks of how to create a good looking nail art. After a bit of practicing you will be able to do it more quickly and neatly.
~First of all paint your nails with the base coat that you have chosen.I used OPAL by Picture Polish here.I applied a first coat & then a second and let it dry completely before moving on to the next step.
~Secondly pick up the nail color for the stamping process.Dip the brush into the color and you will be able to see some thick polish on the brush.Take your stamping plate & fill the color onto the design that you want to print. As soon as your color takes space in the design hold your scraper at an upright 90 degree angle and scrap any other polish of the plate.
~Next take your stamper ,hold it straight & upright too and quickly press hard onto the plate.
~Next roll on the stamp image from one side of the nail to the other without moving it up or down but only from one side of the nail to the other. You also have to keep in mind how you want the design to be copied on your nail.Otherwise you will end up creating different looks on different nails!

You will always need to clean the plate with the nail polish remover before doing the next nail if you want clear designs.

Ok so coming to my stamping plate & stamper:
The plate I got has some beautiful flowery designs but I noted that some of them were more easy to work on than the others. The "others" didnt pick up all the image actually.

My stamper is also two sided but I mostly use the smaller side as the images are no bigger than that!

What you say girls.I am still in the learning phase & will love to share my future nail art attempts with you girlies :)

For more details & orders you can visit Born Pretty .You can also find them on Facebook.
Have you tried nail art with stamping plates. Please share any tips & tricks that you learnt with me.
Thanks for reading.
Stay Happy Always.

~Review:Oil of Olay Beauty Fluid~

Hello Lovlies
How are you all?Well I have been very busy this week with some family stuff but now am back for Friday.Thats why I am here to do a review that was requested by a couple of you pretty ladies. The product is Oil Of Olay Beauty Fluid.
The legendary first product introduced by Olay, Active Hydrating Beauty Fluid continues to make women look and feel beautiful today. It penetrates skin quickly, providing it with an immediate surge of active moisture that soothes dryness without leaving behind a greasy feel. This hydration works like the essential fluids that are abundant in young skin and helps diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Add it to your skin care routine to:
• Moisturize and reveal softer, smoother, more supple skin

• Restore the natural beauty of your skin

• Diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
Before I share anything about my experience with Olay Beauty Fluid I would like to share some info that I came across that I thought interesting enough to be shared with all of you!
Oil of Olay Beauty Fluid was a product truly born from love, and it was created by a man as a gift for his wife.
In the 1950s, chemist Graham Wulff saw his wife Dinah’s frustration with the thick, waxy beauty creams that came in shoe-polish tins. They left her skin looking greasy, and they certainly didn’t fit with her feminine sensibility.
Graham wanted to create a new beauty product for her - one that could not only moisturize her skin, but also leave her feeling beautiful and feminine.
Eventually, after much experimentation with absorption and texture, the legendary Oil of Olay Beauty Fluidwas born.
And within five years, Oil of Olay Beauty Fluid was enjoying phenomenal success in South Africa, and in 1959 they expanded into England, the United States, the Netherlands, Canada and Germany.
Nowadays, Oil of Olay Beauty Fluid reportedly sells one bottle every 4 seconds somewhere in the world, millions of women worldwide cannot all be wrong.
This legendary first product, Oil of Olay Beauty Fluid, continues to make women look and feel beautiful today.

Ok so I would start by telling you that this is the one product that literally RUNS IN OUR FAMILy!!My mother(MAY HER SOUL REST IN PEACE AMEEN) used this for her daily routine skincare & thats why its a product that I have been using for quite some time now.You can say while I went to school I used this.Even a childhood friend of mine remarked once that the smell of Oil of Olay reminded her of me !
I have been using this as part of my daily skin care for quite a span of  my life now.Every morning after I wash my face I apply it.It quickly absorbs into my skin leaving behind a moisturised & soft skin.Though  I have oily skin but it has never left that greasy feeling on my skin. Its hydration also helps in keeping the skin young & diminishes appearance of lines. This moisturiser is for all kinds of skin so I would say that If you have had trouble finding a moisturiser for daily use that would suit your skin go ahead & try this Beauty Secret that woman have been loving for some years now!
Sometimes I dont want a heavy make up look so instead of using a foundation or sheer tint moisturiser I simply apply Olay Beauty Fluid to my skin & proceed with a face powder & that does the trick for me.If you have a blemish free face without any marks that need to be covered with foundation you can also choose this fluid as a base for your makeup.
Likewise if you are a at home & dont intend to go out all day simply use this fluid to keep your skin moisturised all day long.Try it and you will be very happy with the results.
It is very light textured
Absorbs quickly leaving behind non greasy skin

I would recommend this product to all the ladies with different skin types to include this Beauty Secret into their daily skincare regimes. It will leave your skin soft, supple & hydrated & you will feel the positive results on the outside too.Its one of the best moisturisers I have come across in my life!
It is easily available at all leading cosmetic stores & chemists in Pakistan. The prices can vary place to place.I got it for Rs.650 from D.Watson Blue Area Islamabad.
Do share me your thoughts if you have been using it or any other Olay products.
Comments & Queries are always welcomed.
Thanks a lot for reading.
Stay Happy Always.

~Review:Botanical Shine Shampoo & Botanical Shine Conditioner~

Hello Lovlies,

How are you doing?Today I am reviewing something for the hair!Likewise our body our hair also needs food in order to grow & appear healthy.Thats why proper haircare is the first step to achieve healthy & shiny hair.
The products I am reviewing today are the Liz Earle Botanical Shine Shampoo & Botanical Shine Conditioner(Dry or Damaged Hair).I have been using this combination twice weekly for the last two weeks now and I am amazed at the results.Though the pix I have added in this review are after only 1 time use.
Here are the products:
We've used our botanical skincare expertise to create a gentle yet effective haircare range. Simple and fuss-free, it is all you need for touchably-soft, ultra-smooth hair that shines with health every day.
Just like our multi award-winning Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, we've kept things simple by creating one Botanical Shine Shampoo which works on all hair types.

With West African shea butter, natural source vitamin E, shine-boosting apple and orange extracts plus naturally derived cleansers, our shampoo gently cleans without stripping to leave hair soft, shiny and smooth. Contains no sodium lauryl/laureth sulphate.
Wet hair thoroughly, massage into a rich lather from root to tip – a little shampoo goes a long way.
Naturally active ingredients include natural vitamin E, west african shea butter to moisturise plus apple and orange extracts boost shine.
Specially formulated with West African shea butter, yangu oil, blue seakale and shine-boosting apple and orange extracts, our ultra-rich colour safe conditioner leaves dry or damaged hair hydrated, under control, soft and smooth.
Massage into clean, wet hair after using Botanical Shine Shampoo.
Naturally active ingredients include West African shea butter to moisturise, yangu oil to help smooth and soften hair, plus apple and orange extracts boost shine.
As all the products that I have used uptil now from Liz Earle have been either facial products or general skincare, this is my first experience with Liz Earle's Organic Shampoos & Conditioner. The PR team asked me to choose a conditioner of my choice but I really didnt know which one would be best for me.So I explained my hair type to them & they suggested me the Conditioner for Dry or Damaged Hair.My hair is thick ,can be wild and unruly at times as its naturally curly.I really have a hard time taking care of my hair & Yes,I confess, sometimes I even neglect them badly. When it comes to oiling I hate the feel of oil thats why if someone doesnt compels me to oiling I never initiate myself!!
Ok lets get the long story short & come back to the review!
As I mentioned before I been using this shampoo & conditioner for two weeks with couple of washes each week I feel my hair is really rejuvenated.I am going to share my first time experience with you today. The length of my hair is big,if I pull the curly strands they come down to my back. When I saw the shampoo I thought I will have to use half of that tube on my hair to get a good wash but then I decided to go by what Liz Earle says:A little goes a long way.I only used a palm full of shampoo on my hair & WOW!So much lather that it actually covered my whole scalp. The lather is very creamy & substantial. Its got a lovely smell  that is a mixture of fruity & spa-ish!
The shampoo has also recived a couple of beauty awards.

Now coming to the conditioner, the same little goes long way theory works for it as well.As my hair is thick and curly I have to part my hair into portions and leave in the conditioner for some minutes so that It can actually work. This conditioner left my hair really bouncy and tangle free. The feel of my hair was really soft and even to the eyes they looked soft and pampered.I got a couple of remarks too about how different my hair was looking and that my curls were well managed too.Though I always use a curling mousse to accentuate my curls but this time I wanted to see what the conditioner really did to my hair & I am so surprised that it gave a proper definition to the curls too. Here at the end of the post I am sharing a pic of my hair after using the shampoo & conditioner for the first time.

The end result:Portion of my hair:With & without flash
I am happy & satisfied with this range of haircare products I have reviewed today.I would definitely suggest you to give ur hair the care they need.Get yourself a treat by buying the full size 200ml tube for £8.00 or the 50 ml sample size for £4.25.You will be happy & so will be your hair.
For more details visit Liz Earle. You can also find them on Facebook & Twitter.
                                                       Thanks a lot for reading.

~Review:Liz Earle Hand Repair~

Hello Lovlies
How are all of you!I guess winters are here already!Preparing for the Winter season before hand is a must! The first task that comes into mind with the word winters is updating your wardrobe with loads of sweaters, shawls, scarves, pashminas, gloves, socks etc etc.
These are a must in order to take care and save ourselves from the harsh effects of winters. One of the effects of winters is seen on our skin when it is exposed to the cold.It tends to get dry & chapped & thats why we should keep it hydrated and moisturised.Today the product that I am reviewing is an ideal must have this winter.
Its the Liz Earle Hand Repair.I was sent this couple of weeks ago by the company & since then I have this in my bag while going out & at my side table when at home!

This powerful, non-greasy cream provides instant protection and relief for your hands. Helps to condition nails, soften cuticles and protect against dehydration.
After washing with our Orange Flower Hand Wash, massage into clean hands.
Naturally active ingredients include soothing echinacea, toning hops, plus antioxidants beta-carotene and natural source vitamin E.
Suitable for all skin types
The hand repair is available in many sizes and shapes. It comes both in tubes and pump bottles.I have this 100 ml pump bottle that I am reviewing today. This comes with a little stopper at the opening. You can easily discard the stopper after opening for the first time and not worry about it as it always have the option of a cap on it.There is really no use of this stopper.
The pump is very easy to use and pressing it once or twice gives you enough product for one time use.
Here is the product that came out in two pumps for me.
The texture of the hand repair is very light and smooth. It isnt greasy or sticky at all.As with other Liz Earle products a little goes a long way. This amount is perfect for both hands.Just look at this little quantity of product smoothed on a larger area of the hand. You can see that it really is enough.
It has a light lavender and tangerine mixed smell. The effect of the hand repair is instant. The hands at once feel refined, moisturised, better looking & offcourse soft to feel. The hand repair is completely absorbed and leaves behing non greasy and well hydrated skin at once.
The continuous use of the hand repair has definitely taken my hands one level close to presentable hands. Please excuse the chipped nail color. My nail polish remover was finished :D

This product has also recieved a couple of awards.

This 100ml pump bottle is available for £15.25.Other sizes available are  50ml tube - £9.25 ,15ml tube £4.75,150ml pump - £20.25
~Verdict~As always this is another Liz Earle product that I must say is worth buying and trying.Specially in winters your skin deserves something very much like this full of lovely natural ingrediants. So why not invest once & be happy with the results, instead of buying other lotions and creams.
For more details visit Liz Earle. You can also find them on Facebook & Twitter.
Thanks a lot for reading.
Stay Happy Always,
