~[Review and Look]:Luscious Angel Eyes Eyeshadow Primer/Base~

Finally I am here after more than a fortnight writing a post.May has been a mixed month for me.My very dear nani ama passed away and then got busy with guests. Then arrived my birthday. In this whole time a birthday giveaway kept my girls busy on my Facebook page.
Meanwhile I received this newly launched product from Luscious Cosmetics for Review.I have used it a couple of times now and so reviewing it now.

~What Luscious Cosmetics has got to say about it~
The guardian angel for your eye makeup! A smooth, lightweight, and matte formula that creates the perfect canvas for long lasting eye makeup application. Glides onto the eyelids without dragging and acts like a magnet for eye shadow and eye liner, ensuring true and vibrant color results that stay in place without creasing.

Ingrediants:Water, Isododecane, Dimethicone, Glycerin, Propanediol, Talc, Magnesium Silicate, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Alumina, Tocopheryl Acetate, Trisodium EDTA, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Caprylyl Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, May Contain: Iron Oxides (CI 77492), (CI 77499), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891)

The packaging of the product is great. It is a mini tube with a nozzle end very much like the famous Urban Decay's Primer Potion. The only thing that makes it look different from UD's primer potion is the cap.Otherwise they are "Two Peas in a pod".Secondly the expiry date of this product is 18 months after opening whereas that of UD's primer potion is 6 months.Last but not the least difference is that Luscious's tube contains 10ml & UD's primer potion contains 11ml of product.

The texture of the eye shadow base is very creamy but it is very easy to blend. When I used my primer for first time I actually pumped out quite some product that I later regarded as a lot.Be careful when squeezing out product for use as only a small pea size amount is enough for both eyes.Thats why these tubes are tiny because a little product goes a long way.
Here is what the base look like when pumped out of the tube.
Here is my make up free face I ll tell you how I have applied the eye shadow base and then the shades to get the complete look.
Make up free face

The Luscious eye shsdow base applied and over the eye lid.If you want to apply some eyeshadow to lower lash line apply a little bit of it under the eye too.It can also work as a concealer and a base. Its nude in color.Try to work the product with a brush or your fingers.Soon it will be smooth and absorbed giving a matte look to the eye lid.Now your eye lid is ready for any eyeshadow whether matte or glitters etc.
Both of my eyelids now primed with Luscious eyeshadow base.I am ready to play with some colors on my eyes.

Birthday Selfie
I did a smokey eye look using Naked 3 palette for my birthday dinner .
Ok so now for the results,The eyeshadow primer increases the lasting power of the eye shadow. My make up was fresh as ever when I returned home late in the night.
Colors still fresh and inplace

I noticed that with the use of this base the blending of the shadows becoming easy and the color pay off is better as well.I have oily skin and so super oily eye lids. This matte base is super for oily eyelids.
Overall its a must have for make up lovers.I assure you it won't disappoint you at all.
It is priced at Rs.875 / $9.01 which is a lot less than the $20 UD's primer potion & the advantage is 12 more months of lasting time.
Its available for order at Luscious Cosmetics & & all leading drugstores & Luscious Counters nationwide.
Have you been using a primer already?
Do you agree that eye shadow primers are worth buying.
