~[Review & Swatches]:Revlon Color Stay Foundation in 250 Fresh Beige~

I was so happy when I spotted Revlon's counter at Al Fatah Centaurus Mall Islamabad lately. At last Islamabad girls can check out their testers and stuff before buying Revlon stuff.I am sure Scentsation in Safa Gold Mall Islamabad will soon open its Revlon counter too.Anyways where was I...Yes I purchased my long On The Wishlist Revlon's Color Stay Foundation.

Previously I was using photoready foundation in Medium Beige. So I was of the thought that I should get the same shade in Color stay but when I tried a couple of testers on my skin I felt that Fresh Beige was much better than Medium Beige Photoready.

Want makeup that is flawless and weightless for 16 perfect hours? Revlon has the solution - ColorStay™ Makeup with SoftFlex™.Specially formulated for normal or dry skin, this oil-free, moisture-balanced formula gives you flawless looking skin. Makeup looks fresh and feels great for up to 16 hours thanks to the lightweight, comfortable feel from the SoftFlex ColorStay™ Formula. Medium to full coverage, with SPF 15 protection.
~My Experience with Revlon Color stay Foundation Fresh Beige~
I have always heard good things about this foundation and was sure that it would suit me very much but I didnt buy it in the first place and tried Photoready.I am happy that Revlon's Photoready also did me well.So now is the time to buy and try Revlon's Color stay when my Photoready is near finishing.
The foundation comes in a glass bottle labelled 30 ml.I should mention here that this one is for combination/oily skin as I have oily skin. The only bad thing about the packaging is that it has no pump or dispenser like the photoready.
Its packaging is very similar to Mac's Studio Fix.Only a tad bit talller and thinner than Studio Fix.Well I am used to pouring out foundation being a Mac's Studio Fix regular user so I have no concerns with Revlon's Color Stay's missing pump.As long as it works well it is acceptable.
Its formula is a bit dry not very runny like photoready's.Though its dry but is very blendable and easy to work with the help of a beauty blender or a stippling brush.Getting the right shade for yourself is the trickiest when buying a foundation.Thereore I had already made up my mind that I ll be getting the same shade that I have been using in Photoready. But seeing so many shades at the Revlon counter made me try a lot of them before I finally settled for Fresh Beige(Pink undertones)Surprisingly this foundation with Pink undertones is suiting me well too.
Here is a swatch

The foundation provides light to maximum coverage and is buildabe.I used it with a primer underneath and it lasted well enough for 7-8 hours.Though its claims are for many more hours but still 7-8 hours is very good enough for me.It has proved to be one of the  best foundation for hot and humid days.I had a very good experience lately. The light went off and there were no fan/acs.Though I didnt stop sweating but the foundation didnt leave its place as well.I only had to dab a tissue or apply some facepowder on top to go fresh again. It also has SPF & that makes it even better. Its extremely light to wear.Doesn't give me the heavy cakey feeling. It is not fragrance free, has a light odor to it.
Here is a comparision swatch with MAC's studio fix

ME-Wearing Revlon Color Stay Foundation Fresh Beige finished off with a make up fixer & other makeup.
Its available online at Just4girls for Rs.2355/-
I bought it at Al-Fatah Centaurus Mall Islamabad for Rs.2355 as well.
What foundation are you using these days?.
Would love to know.

~NOTD:Summer Bling Nails~

Its Monday so why not make it a Manicure Monday..
I did this NOTD just for fun !
The base coat is Chateau by Color Studio Professional.
I have applied 2 coats of Chateau and topped with confetti glitter nail polishcalled PE Beauty that  I picked at Al Fateh Centaurus Mall recently.

The red of the nail shade is just like the red of a cool watermelon!
I am feeling somewhat cool in this heat after wearing this nail color along with this confetti glitter coat.
What are you wearing on your nails today.
Would love to know.
Thanks a lot for stopping by.
